Having a fight with the hand here, not the easiest to do at the best of times but as I’ve adapted the pose bit and I have to somehow make it look convincing. It is a good job alkyd paints dry in six hours! I’ll try again later.
I have a list in my head of paintings I want to do in connection with Hotham Park. The list is far too long to complete before my looming exhibition but this one I want to finish.

My painting of the Mediterranean Garden in Hotham Park is finished. With only 18 more days to go until my exhibition opens I wondered if would do it, But, I DID IT. Now on to several other projects in the making.
Worked for a few more hours on this the last two days. Its Getting there but still has a way to go

I have put the finishing touches to this by painting in the crows. Hotham Park has a large population of crows and rooks strutting around and nesting in tall trees. The crows are unusual in that they have white feathers in their wings.
