I have put the finishing touches to this by painting in the crows. Hotham Park has a large population of crows and rooks strutting around and nesting in tall trees. The crows are unusual in that they have white feathers in their wings.

Help! I have and exhibition in a months time and I’m starting to panic I won’t get everything done in time. Today I got into my studio at 5.45am and painted all day until 5 pm with only short breaks for meals. I worked on three paintings two almost done plus one new.
During the really hot weather I took my sketching group, to this lovely shady spot in Hotham Park. It’s a place I like to go back to as there are so many different species of trees there.
After painting the back wall of my studio with mould resistant emulsion I managed to work on this again.
At last I think this is finished. There may be a couple more little adjustments before my show but for now I have other fish to fry.
